Atlanta’s Best Asian Restaurants

This category is rather broad, covering funky neighborhood izakayas and Thai spots to Buford Highway’s authentic Vietnamese and Korean restaurants. These are standouts that can loosely be categorized as Asian:

Miso Izakaya
Japanese bar specializing in shochu, a distiled spirit made with barley or rice; their soy marinated egg is not to be missed!

Poor Calvin’s
Thai dishes prepared with flavor and flair, juxtaposed by Southern inspired specialties with Asian accents.

Lee’s Bakery
Still Atlanta’s best bahn mi sandwiches;  grilled pork, extra jalapeno!

MF Sushi
The magic fingers are back, crafting delicate sashimi dishes and meats cooked on the robata grill.

Pho Dai Loi
Wonderfully tacky dining room brightly lit with chandeliers; still serving some of the best pho in town.

Cafe 101
Extensive menu of traditional Chinese dishes like pork wontons in Szechuan chili sauce, served in a funky round building on Buford Highway, next to I285.

Le Fat
Guy Wong’s beautiful space on the Westside offering an abbreviated menu of Vietnamese favorites including pho.

Nam Phuong
One of Buford Highway’s best authentic Vietnamese restaurants; try the enormous barbecue pork rolls. There is also a Norcross location.

Woo Nam Jeong
Authentic Korean bibimbap and traditional gujeolpan.
