Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna at Whiskey Bird

Our new neighborhood fave, Whiskey Bird serves a variety of memorable, shareable Asian-inspired dishes like the mini tacos in crispy fried wonton shells. Do they remind you of the pork cheek tacos at The Iberian Pig? They should, because chef and partner Chad Crete created that popular dish as that restaurant’s Executive Chef.

In addition to tasty small plates, Whiskey Bird makes a killer Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna. Served rare, the tuna is nestled in creamy homestyle rice grits studded with edamame, alongside an heirloom carrot and radish salad, all drizzled with an amazing green onion vinaigrette.
