Moqueca Stew at BeetleCat

0

I fell in love with this traditional Brazilian seafood stew while visiting Rio a few years back and was excited to see it on chef Andrew Isabella’s menu at BeetleCat.

Dayboat fish, shrimp, plantains, and yucca are simmered in a creamy, spicy broth made with coconut milk. The stew, topped with a handful of vibrant cilantro and sliced fresh jalapenos is served over white rice.
