There is a surprising variety of delicious and unusual vegetarian dishes at Venkman’s, the hip restaurant and music venue on Atlanta’s Beltline.
Although I’m not a vegetarian, I enjoy great flavor with or without meat. These mushroom lettuce cups are a perfect example. Sliced raw button mushrooms and shiitake “bacon” are tossed with house-made BBQ vinaigrette, then sprinkled with chopped peanuts for crunch. Diners make their own wraps with big leaves of bibb lettuce.
