Blackened Shrimp Tacos at Six Feet Under

There are several reasons why I shouldn’t like these tacos at Six Feet Under, yet its one of my favorite dishes in town. First, they are served on flour tortillas, not corn, but somehow that’s forgivable with seafood. And although cucumber (which I detest) is mentioned twice in the menu description, I have never come in contact with the dreaded vegetable while enjoying these tasty tacos.

Three giant tacos, easily enough to share, are loaded with plump blackened shrimp, shredded spinach, the mysterious cucumber, onion relish, (cucumber) wasabi, and crispy fried leeks for a decadent crunch. Maybe I requested them without cucumber…?

Best enjoyed on the smoldering upstairs patio with a potent Margarita!
