Calavino - Tipple and Rose-2Chef Calavino Donati has been an Atlanta based restaurateur for more than 20 years. Her first restaurant, The Roman Lily Café, was a beloved staple in the Atlanta dining scene and one of the first spaces to open in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. In 2009, she opened Urban Cannibals Bodega + Bites with only a George Foreman grill and two hot pots. Her restaurant group with partner Doria Roberts, We Serve People, expanded last year with two new concepts, Tipple + Rose Tea Parlor and Apothecary and Madre + Mason, and also opened Urban Cannibals Midtown.

The Urban Reuben

A fan favorite at Urban Cannibals is the Urban Reuben sandwich, which has been featured on Food Network. The Urban Reuben is crafted with house roasted Berkshire pork, fresh cherry peppers, house made apple horseradish sauce, topped with smoked gouda cheese and grilled on marbled rye bread. A vegan option is available and made with grilled local, organic tofu.
