A refreshing treat from Erica at The Reynolds Group:

All-natural and health conscious ice pop brand introduces Caribbean flavors

All-natural Atlanta based ice pop brand Pop Stars is kicking off summer with an island-inspired collection of tropical flavors. Available now, flavors include Caribbean choices like tropical coconut, pineapple guava and spicy mango joining signature favorites such as chocolate salted coconut, strawberry milkshake, pb&j and peaches and cream.

Inspired by chief pop star Ayesha Paul’s Trinidadian and Tobagonian heritage and the time spent visiting family in the islands, the new flavors taste like an exotic getaway, featuring native Caribbean flavors and continuing to uphold Pop Star’s commitment to offering guilt-free treats. The collection includes tropical coconut (coconut cream, pineapple, lime and ginger), pineapple guava, spicy mango (mango, sea salt and a hint of scotch bonnet pepper), passion fruit cocktail (passion fruit, lime and mint) and calypso punch, a secret family recipe blending tropical fruits.

Sweetened with evaporated all-natural cane sugar and made creamy with rice and coconut milk, the pops deliver honest, authentic, uninhibited flavor. Not only are they delicious, but the caloric value of each ranges from 70 to 160 calories each. With the tagline of the “best pops ever,” Paul’s creations live up to their motto, offering unique and creative combinations with distinct, concentrated flavor in each bite. The refreshing treats are the ideal contrast to Atlanta’s thick summer heat.

Atlantans can find Island Collection pops at festivals, events and pop-up shops throughout the city as well as anywhere the pop cart is vending. Pop Stars currently vends in Little Five Points on Euclid Avenue, across from Arden’s Garden, at SkyView Atlanta Thursday through Sunday from 12 to 8 p.m. and at the Piedmont Park Mayor’s Grove Playground and Aquatic Center beginning Saturday, May 30. They’ll also be popping up at a variety of events including Saturday Williams-Sonoma Artisan Markets at Lenox Square Mall, this weekend’s 27th annual Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, Fernbank Museum of Natural History’s Brain Freeze Friday on Friday, June 26, TomorrowWorld, and more.

All Pop Stars flavors, including the new ones, are also available by special order and for catering orders. The brand’s six most popular flavors are available for $3 each at all area Whole Foods Markets as well as Nature’s Own Herb Shop in Hapeville, Georgia.

Celebrating its first birthday, Pop Stars will be thanking Atlantans with complimentary pops for an afternoon this summer. Stay tuned to Pop Stars’ social media for more information and details.
