Brunch With a Punch at Cafe’ 458

0

Urban Explorers of Atlanta is an adventure-driven social club for people who want to have FUN and make a DIFFERENCE!

Brunch with a Punch is an Urban Explorers event held on the second Sunday each month. Cafe 458 is a very special restaurant that is only open to the public on Sundays. 100% of the proceeds, including server tips, go to support the Atlanta Center for Self-Sufficiency, a wonderful organization that helps previously homeless individuals reenter the workforce. The restaurant is located in historic Old Fourth Ward.

11:00am > Make a DIFFERENCE: Brunch at Cafe 458, 458 Edgewood Avenue

12:30pm > Have FUN & Get some EXERCISE: 4.2-mile fitness walking tour of new Atlanta Streetcar route

After brunch, you will have three options:

1. Fitness walk from Cafe 458 to Centennial Park (4.2 miles round trip)

2. Hop on the new Atlanta Streetcar. Closest stop to Cafe 458 is one block from the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site.

3. Fitness walkers can walk to Centennial Park and take the streetcar back OR walk the entire route which will be about 3 miles since we will likely walk around Centennial Park when we get there.

Please Note: The 4.2-mile fitness walk will be a fast walk for those who want to get some exercise. Please wear comfortable running / walking shoes. If you find that you are not able to keep up with the group you will be able to hop on the streetcar at various points along the route.
