When my neighbor and I visited True Food Kitchen for their friends and family opening event, I wanted to try this tart. However, doctor LG doesn’t like onions, so we chose a salad to share for our starter instead.
On my next visit, this time with LC, getting the tart was my first order of business. More like a small flatbread pizza, this appetizer is large enough for a light lunch. The tart was baked until crisp with sweet caramelized onions, black figs, smoked garlic, and gorgonzola, a magic combination of sweet and salty flavors.
