Time to Come Play at Upscale Boutique Bar, Bowling and Entertainment Venue

The Painted Pin, Atlanta’s much anticipated upscale bar, bowling and entertainment venue, opens its doors today, Monday, June 9th. Backed by an all-star team, The Painted Pin offers 20 full service lanes along with iconic games in an industrial warehouse space in the heart of Buckhead’s Miami Circle.

The design is characterized as modern English with accents, furniture and fabrics taking their cues from classic British design. Warehouse windows emit natural light onto stained concrete, Persian rugs, oversized chandeliers and exposed brick. Twenty lanes boast custom chesterfield couches in dark brown, navy and green alongside oak tables with steel strap and rivet detail. The lanes are backed by an up-lit red curtain lending a theatrical component. A dark walnut topped bar with leather bound siding and brass buckled straps holds center court. An indoor courtyard gaming area, with exposed brick walls lined with gas lanterns and topiaries, frames handcrafted shuffleboard tables, oversized pop-a-shots, skee ball and two full sized bocce courts.

Le Cordon Bleu graduate, Chef Thomas Collins, formerly of Atlanta’s ONE. midtown kitchen, TROIS and Parish Foods & Goods, offers comforting pub and “upscale alley” fare including wood fired pizzas (courtesy of two Neapolitan style pizza ovens), tacos, sliders, sandwiches and salads. Favorites include Waffle Dogs with sweet soy aioli, The TPP Slider with tomatoes, peppered bacon and pimento cheese, and Spicy Chorizo Pizza with Fresno chiles, salsa verde and fresh mozzarella.

Acclaimed mixologist and bar manager Trip Sandifer (Atlanta’s The Spence and Restaurant Eugene) offers signature cocktails including Moscow Mule Slushies, and Bourbon Punch Bowls, along with 25 of his favorite classic cocktails such as the Clover Club made with gin, pomegranate, grenadine, lemon, and egg white. Craft, local beer and artisanal wines, hand selected by owner and Advanced Sommelier Justin Amick, are also available. The Painted Pin is the first bowling alley in the world to have lane-side P.Y.O.B. beer tabs (pour your own beer) courtesy of Table Tap LLC’s TableTender®

The Painted Pin was created by Justin Amick and William Stallworth. Stallworth, a sales and financial veteran, comes from the management training program at Concentrics Restaurants. Amick is no stranger to the hospitality business. Over the past seven years, he has worked closely with his father, Bob Amick, in their family business of Concentrics Restaurants. Prior to joining the family business, Amick worked in nationally acclaimed Chef Tom Colicchio’s New York Craft Restaurant’s Management Training Program and then the Napa Valley where he worked for Trinchero Family Estates’ winemaking team. Amick is currently studying for the Master Sommelier Diploma Examination of which only 215 have passed, worldwide.
